Manchester-based. Working with your business.
Close to your business. Wherever the team works.
I am based in Manchester and work with businesses across the North West, Yorkshire and the wider UK. We can work remotely, with any on-site time and travel agreed around what the engagement needs.
Talk about your businessOne working relationship, whether we meet online or arrange a visit.
My working base is Manchester. AJAHMED LTD has a London registered office, which is not a customer-facing consulting office.
01 / Manchester and the North West
Start with how the work happens, not a postcode.
For a Manchester or North West business, the advantage of working with someone nearby is the option to agree time with the team where that is useful. Seeing how an enquiry, job or customer request actually moves through the business can reveal details that a specification misses.
On-site work is not automatically included. We agree its purpose, the people who need to be involved, availability and travel before confirming the engagement. Routine decisions, demonstrations and progress reviews can also happen online.
02 / Yorkshire
The same direct involvement for teams across Yorkshire.
If your business is in Leeds, Sheffield, Bradford or elsewhere in Yorkshire, we can start with a remote conversation and examples of the work you want to improve. We then decide whether remote working is enough or whether an agreed visit would make a difference.
I do not have a separate office in each city. What you get is direct access to the person learning the business and building the agreed software, with a working pattern set around your team.
03 / Across the UK
Remote should not mean detached.
A useful remote engagement needs more than occasional status calls. We identify a decision-maker, agree who can explain each part of the operation and make time to review working software together. We keep decisions and open questions in a place the team can use.
We agree access before looking at systems or data. Early examples can be anonymised. Private customer records, credentials and sensitive business information should not be sent through the public enquiry form.
- Bring one real example of a process, with sensitive details removed.
- Identify who does the work and who can agree changes.
- Agree how often we review progress and test what has been built.
- Decide what support and ownership should look like after delivery.
04 / The right fit matters more
You want someone who will understand, challenge and build.
My work combines business systems consulting with hands-on development. It suits an owner or leadership team that wants to improve how the whole business operates, rather than simply pass an isolated list of features to a supplier.
The first conversation is about your business, what you want to achieve and whether I can help. Location, meeting arrangements, scope and fees can then be agreed honestly. There is no automatic booking or commitment when you send an enquiry.
A few useful answers.
Where are you actually based?
Manchester. AJAHMED LTD is registered at 66 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NA. That is the company registered office, not a walk-in consulting location.
Can you visit our business?
We can discuss it. Visits depend on the work, availability, travel and the terms we agree. Please do not arrive at the registered office expecting a meeting.
Do you work with businesses outside the North West?
Yes. Remote engagements are available across the UK. Tell me where your team is based and what kind of involvement would help.
The conversation comes first
Tell me what you want the business to do better.
A short outline of the business, how things work today and where you want to get to is enough to start. Please leave out passwords and private customer information.
