The problem.
I wanted a two-player game where every match is a new physics puzzle and no session takes more than 90 seconds.
II · Build
What I shipped.
A two-player real-time duel with zero-gravity physics and deterministic rollback.
Unity + Netcode for Game Objects, Rust relay for the matching layer.
Rollback + Rust relay give Cold Orbit a 42ms average ping in a category where 80ms is considered good.
