Beacon Ops

A status page for teams that hate status pages.

$ launch beacon-ops This is my interpretation. The button above opens the live front-end built in the product's own language.

The problem.

Existing status pages either looked like a GitHub repo or cost $200/month. The engineering teams I knew wanted neither.

II · Build

What I shipped.

What

A minimal status page service — public pages, private incidents, slack/webhook bridges.

How

Go backend, HTMX frontend (no JS bundle), Cloudflare edge, Timescale for uptime data.

Why

The fewer features, the fewer reasons to churn. Beacon's entire product fits on one page of docs.

III · Counted Representative figures. Actual client metrics are under NDA.
