GoPromo audit platformCustomer acquisition & delivery

Give a good opportunity somewhere to go.

A useful website audit can start a customer conversation. I built the system around it so the findings could become a clear next step for the customer and actionable work for the team.

My role

Head of Applied AI & Product Systems at GoPromo, 2023 to present

The report was only the beginning.

GoPromo needed to turn website analysis into a useful commercial conversation. Producing findings was one part of the problem. The customer also needed to understand what mattered, while the team needed enough structure to follow up and deliver the work.

I worked across development, marketing and sales to connect those steps. The question was how a free first interaction could lead naturally to a relevant service, with the delivery team ready to fulfil the promise.

One journey from finding to follow-through.

I designed and built the audit platform and its surrounding workflow. Each stage gives the next person something useful to act on.

  • Website findings organised into a consistent audit result.
  • Clear customer communication explaining relevant next steps.
  • Follow-up and proposal workflows connected to the opportunity.
  • Structured technical requirements handed to the development team.

The work covered the experience the customer sees and the less visible systems that help the business respond.

The economics were part of the design.

A free service needs careful operating costs. I chose where AI would add value, where established tools were sufficient and how repeated work should be handled reliably.

Those choices matter as demand grows. A useful acquisition channel has to make commercial sense for the business running it, as well as feel helpful to the person using it.

Built, deployed and used.

GoPromo reports more than 10,000 completed audits. The connected workflow has supported lead generation and subsequent paid implementation work.

For another business, the starting question might be simple: where does a promising customer conversation currently stop moving?
